The film takes you on a journey of how Harry, Niall, Liam, Zayn and Louis all embark on making their long dreams a reality by auditioning as solo artist on the x factor in 2010 but got turned down at the boot camp stage. When a genius man named Simon Cowell came up with idea of putting them as a band. And they haven't looked back since. In just 3 years they have become the worlds biggest boy band having huge success all round the work thanks to the fans on social media that is twitter.

Whoever  is a massive fan of the boys will absolutely love this film as it gives an sights to how the boys really are and anyone that isn't a fan will be after watching this is us.

This is us!!

Yesterday had to be one of the strangest days I have ever had in my entire life! I won tickets to an exclusive screening to the new One Direction Movie this is is us and also a chance to watch the premier live from Leicester square. I decided to take my older cousin to Birmingham to watch the anticipated movie. We turn up to the cinemas were there is a que of eager fans waiting to see the five boys on the big screen.

We get to our seats and a goody bag awaits us on the seats full of free goodies. Then the moment begins when the screen in front of us lights up and were watching the premier live from Leicester square and the TV presenter is surrounded by a sea of screaming fans all waiting for the boys to turn up.

Never have I seen such huge crowds at a premier all singing along to one directions biggest hits. Then all of a sudden a massive car pulls up and out comes the five people everyone has been waiting for. Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik call come out of the car looking as handsome and well groomed as ever, all wearing watching outfits yet express their own individual styles, with Harry wearing his trademark blazer and love heart patterned shirt. After they had gone through signing autographs for fans, having their pictures taken doing interviews the film was starting to begin.

a walk in the park

My dog was literally begging to go for a walk and I couldn't say no to his cute little face. So I grabbed his lead and  we set off round the streets were I live. And I have to say I forgot how nice it is just to go outside, feel the fresh air and have a nice walk with your dog.

Northern Soul

I'm sure some of you know by now, the hit song by John Newman "love me again".  In actual fact this song is heavily influenced by the genre Northern Soul. For those of you that don't know, Northern Soul is a music and dance movement that emerged by the north of England in the 1960's from the British mod scene. The British mod scene is best described by the people that wore trendy clothes such as Fred Perry polo shirts and were quite rebellious by perhaps riding around in a mod scooter.

Other fashion statements that were part of the mod meaning included;  button downed Ben Sherman  shirts, blazers, trickers, brogue shoe and the famous flare trousers. Scene in the video of the John Newman song you can see all the people involved wearing  buttoned up Fred perry polo shirts, flare trousers and navy blue Parker jackets. From this I can see a massive comeback with this style with many people going out and buying these designer labels thanks to the popular music such as John Newman and also shown in the 2008 hit song Mercy by Duffy.

This style was most popular in the late 1970's and early 1980's which i previously noted further down my blog about the casual's were the supporters of most football teams used to wear when having a scrap with rival football teams.

boys will be boys

Had a bit of a frustrating night, me and my closests friends (girls) used to be friends with some boys who we have known since we were babies and since leaving school we haven't seen them in months. So we thought we would have a catch up at the pub and they never turned up!! Not even a text us to let us know. So from my experience keep your girls( friends) close and stuff boys.

glamour

Reading through my heat magazine, as I always do I came across a clothing website in the fashion pages called glamorous.co.uk and has the most amazing clothing for really resnable prices. Even fashion expert and tv presenter caroline flake has been seen wearing their pieces.

book worm!

One of my favourite things to do is read. And recently my mum brought me three books from the author Sophie Kinsella. She writes for a series of books called confessions of a shopoholic and having read the first one, I was dying to read the rest and was  overjoyed that my mum had brought me the other ones.

The books are  typically for a  girlie girl who loves fashion and clothes (just like me). I was so fascinated  with the character "Rebecca Bloomwood, that I was reading it on stop and managed to finish it within a matter of days. So if your like me and just love a good old read then I highly recommend it!
